Decided to do an update on all my guineas

This is my Guinea pig Family

Meggs ( Male 2 yrs old ) Son of Friskie and Vanillie

Tipsy ( Female 1 yr old ) Daughter of Ginger and Vanillie

Dougal ( Male 1 yr old )

Patch ( Female 18 months old) Daughter of Trixie and Meggs



Jessica ( Female 6 months old ) Daughter of Patch and Dougal
Hannah ( Female 6 months Old ) Daughter of Patch and Dougal
Ella ( Female 6 months old ) Daughter of Patch and Dougal
(Named after Jessica Watson, Her Sister Hannah and Ella the pink lady Boat )



Tammy ( Female 1 yr old ) Daughter of Friskie and Dougal
Teddy ( Female 1 yr old ) Daughter of Friskie and Dougal
( These are Friskies Last babies, She had a semi difficult pregnancy and suffered a slight stroke about 2 months later. She is still Alive and well, but we decided no more pregnancies due to health reasons.)

Caleigh ( female 1 week old) Daughter of Teddy and Dougal
Dusty ( female 1 week old) Daughter of Teddy and Dougal

One week on

Well the Littlies are 1 week old now....and doing amazingly well.

Teddy's Post pregnancy weight is 1142gms

Asher is now 129gms
Bear is 119gms
Caleigh is 135gms
and
Dusty is 130gms

They have all added a 1/3 of their birth weight in this first week....little piggies lol

They love being handled and playing in the play area

Mummy Teddy is soooo proud, she loves showing her babies off....lol

All going well....another successful breeding story :)

Babies born !!!!!

Well Teddy has done a magnificent job and now has 4 adorable little babies. :)

She had a long labour compared to my other girls with a long stretch between the 1st and 2nd being born, then the third came out pretty much straight away and then it was a good 1/2 hr before the 4th was Born.

First born was "Caliegh" weighing 86gms
Second born was "Asher" weighing 99gms
Third born was "Dusty" weighing 93gms
and last but not least
Forth born was "Bear" weighing 85gms


All are happy and healthy and Mum ( Teddy ) and Dad ( Dougal ) are very proud parents :)

It's Teddy's Turn to be Pregnant and have Babies :)

Teddy is due to give Birth any day now.
We have been having nightly cuddles and felling the babies kicking for a while now.
Weigh in day yesterday and Teddy has put on 452gms....so maybe 3 possibly 4 babies :)

Weight: 1448gms
